You won’t find a lot of dessert wine reviews on this site because there isn’t a large audience for them and I don’t often drink them. Now and again though, I come across an example which warrants attention.
This is opulent and thick with flavour yet it exhibits balanced acid structure and good form. A cornucopia of flavours; caramel, lime spider, Turkish delight, candied ginger, apricot nectar, nuts and probably another half a dozen specific scents and flavours. It doesn’t feel crowded or noisy. Detailed complexity is a big part of its success. Terrific carry too. 94

Seems pricey for a half bottle Jeremy. Is it really that good?
It is expensive Bob. I wouldn’t buy it because I’m really not interested in dessert wines…but I think it deserves a gold medal.
