Tasted and rated blind in a small-ish bracket of Pinot Gris. It’s not a variety that I like to immerse myself in, although it can be done well. This is a pretty good example.
Poached pear, honeycomb, brioche, baking spice and nuts. Leesy body, rounded mouthfeel, no excess fat or heat. Good balance. Finishes close enough to dry. Should please many drinkers and I would happily sink a glass if it were placed in front of me. 89
