The bottle tells me this is a multi-regional blend using fruit from the Margaret River and the Porongurup subregion of the Great Southern but the website seems to indicate that it’s 100% Margaret River. I’ll go with the bottle.
Fuller flavours and a rounder mouthfeel when compared to the Hallelujah Chardonnay from the same year. Gentle sulphides, white peach, grapefruit, lime splice and fresh apricot. Has a kind of macadamia nut creaminess in the mouth but there’s a strong line of acid holding the fort. Lingers on a spicy ginger note. Top value. 91
