More dark fruited generosity than the 2011 model although there are still raspberry and cherry highlights. Not quite as spicy either, but still delicious. I’m a fan of both vintages.
Soft, perfumed, juicy, floral and gluggable without any dumbing down. Spice, deli meats and enhanced aromatics from the whole bunches which also layer the tannins and spread them through the mid-palate. Should gain even more admirers this time around. And it deserves them. An extra point for enjoyment and character in one bundle. 92
