The Chapel Hill Parson’s Nose Shiraz never fails to provide a hit of McLaren Vale red wine pleasure for very few dollars. It’s in good form with this release – regionally rich yet bright and dangerously drinkable.
Vivacious blue and black berries with a plum bass line. Chocolate, salted licorice, pepper and brown spice. Buoyant acidity and grainy tannin. Not much in the way of oak. It has decent if not expansive length but at this price who really cares? 90
