This is Printhie’s flagship, single vineyard Shiraz. Sees time in French and American Hogsheads with only 12% new French in the mix. I’m fairly certain that I’ve mentioned that MCC stands for Mount Canobolas Collection but if not, I have now.
Lovely violet aromas and liberal pepper spice. Sweet, ripe mulberry and plums fruits but within a framework that is only around medium-bodied and always smooth flowing. Some choc-mint embellishment. Good form and depth with enticing cool climate acidity and powdery tannin. Well laid out, substantial length. 92
