Now we’re cooking. A luncheon claret this good for $15. It’s almost criminal. Bright and agile with flavour and structure in carriage.
Smells delightfully of dusty blackcurrant and cedar. The fruit feels so light and fresh yet the wine doesn’t want for intensity. It’s just so damn drinkable and unforced. Some chocolate before it heads into autumnal leaf. Has the variety’s signature savoury qualities and the silhouette on the palate is utterly charming. 92
