The ABV reads high but you don’t notice any warmth. Just lots of flavour and significant body. I’ve seen some insipid early picked Sauvignon Blanc from the 2013 vintage in the Adelaide Hills and I far prefer this type of expression.
The nose isn’t at all pungent. Passionfruit and guava are on equal footing with mouth-watering citrus characters. Herbal shadings, nothing too overt. The length really ratchets things up a notch. It’s not something the variety is known for but lime and grapefruit flavours really extend through the back-palate. Quite delicious. 92

You’d know better than I Rich but yep, I doubt SC Pannell gets close to S&S in terms of Sauvignon Blanc sales. I was unaware that he still consults to them actually.
