Pinot Grigio from the north-east of Verona. Good fresh, easy drinking style with limited flavour and body but a whole lot of approachability. Pretty much what I want from the style and the price is right…so come on down!
Crunchy pears, a thin slice or two of apple, some sea-spray and a mere hint of spice. Invigorating citrusy acidity. Straight up and down with no attempt to utter anything profound. It’ll sit nicely in the background with food. A subservient wine that knows its place. Perfect fodder for those times life feels a little too demanding. 86
