A significant step up in quality from the last wine reviewed. Greater complexity, finesse, detail and length. This one has the King Valley region printed on the label and there’s no mistaking it as anything other than a Gris.
Baked pears and apples, rose water leaning into Turkish delight and baking spice. A pretty wine with fine acidity sweeping up after the sweetness. Has body and texture. A welcome nuttiness lingers as an aftertaste. Well executed in most every respect. 90
