I’m not a huge fan of Adelaide Hills Pinot Noir, it must be said. But there are a few issues here that go beyond that.
Stinky, rubbery reduction…or something. I immediately wonder if this is a bad bottle. The fruit that makes its way out is dark; cherries and plums. Certainly well over medium-bodied with caramel ripeness and an awkward structure. Hard tannin. Lacks cohesion and never smells or tastes that good. I’d be giving it a wide berth. 82
