A blend from six vineyards across the Mornington Peninsula, three in the Main Ridge area and one each in Red Hill, Merricks and Tuerong. You’d not pick it as anything other than Mornington Peninsula Pinot either.
Raspberry high tones with maraschino cherries and dark plums. Chocolate oak, cola and cinnamon spice. Pinosity emphasised in the form of sap and forest litter. Intensity and depth with very good extension and a nice set of tannins. Some stringy rhubarb contributes further complexity. Regional, tasty and very much worth a look. 92
