I like Margaret River Shiraz when it’s well made and while this won’t leave you awestruck it is regional and very good value.
Lots of genial red berry/cherry flavour with a bit of mulberry and some bay leaf. Nutella oak but it’s understated. Sweet fruited tendencies within a lively, medium-bodied and fresh framework. Not the most extravagant finish but it serves the wine well. A wine for drinking not thinking. I’d be enjoying this in its youth myself. 89
