While still a line and length Chardonnay I’m quite surprised by how much flavour the 2011 Kooyong Estate Chardonnay packs. I reckon a wide demographic of Chardonnay fiends will gain pleasure from this.
It smells of preserved lemons, white peach, flowers and sea breeze. Hints of apricot as well. Some creamy nougat oaks lurks in the background. Good intensity and reach with a fine yet driving line of acidity. Only those who are after lumps of pineapple and melon will have cause to complain. I like it very much thank you. 93

Jeremy, did they send you a Port Philip 2011 Pinot Noir? There is currently a lot of chat about this (although I won’t spoil the surprise)… I’d be interested to hear what you think if you have one on hand.
Simon
Yep, have it and the Kooyong Estate Pinot Noir 2011 here. I’m intrigued now, will taste and review ASAP.
Cheers
