The new release Evans & Tate Redbrook Chardonnay and Cabernet were very good wines but the Shiraz isn’t quite in the same league.
Sweet oak, a slick of raspberry coulis and some darker cherry/berry notes. Bay leaf with black and brown spice. Plenty of dark chocolate too. The acid is nervy and the wine feels skeletal as a result. It has length but it’s discombobulated at this stage. Age may alleviate this to some extent but I’m not willing to put my money on it. 88 Good
