I really wish we saw more Pinot Gris like this. Gives the grape and style a sense of relevancy that is often lacking. It possesses presence and body but maintains form through animated acidity and gentle phenolic grip.
Nuts, honeysuckle and nashi pear with balanced sulphide characters on the nose. Leesy but not cheesy. Has an admirable lilt in the way it flows on the palate, finishing with dry persistence and a bit of spice. It’s not rocket science. Just intelligent wine-making and good fruit. 92 Very Good

Right up there with Scorpo as one of the best in Aus. I think this will be better with a little more time too. If it takes on just a tiny bit more flesh it will be a cracking wine. Great crowd-pleaser.
Spot on IMHO. Scorpo a good point of comparison. I reckon it will fill out over the next twelve months – quality Gris made in this style generally does.
