Mad fishes and golden turtles. It’s all very mythological and a tad confusing on the label of one wine but there’s lots of value to be had here.
Firstly, I like the fact that it smells and tastes like Margaret River Chardonnay. White and yellow stonefruit flesh underscored by grapefruit. Lots of flavour if not quite the corresponding intensity on the palate. A hint of toast but not much in the way of oak present. Flinty finish with good length. Bit of a bargain really. 90 Good
