The fruit for this comes from both the Barossa and Eden Valleys. 46% Grenache, 32% Shiraz, 22% Mataro. A notch above medium-bodied and very smart for the price.
Blackberry and boysenberry with red fruited highlights. Salted licorice and Asian spice. Generous sweet flavour up-front with earth and tarry chocolate oak kicking in on the mid-palate where it begins to take an increasingly savoury turn. Good length and ripe, fine tannin. Approachable but not lacking in substance or interest. Has both verve and structure. Easy to recommend. 90 Good
