Classic Barossa Shiraz made well. It’s still what the region is best known for and that won’t change in a hurry. Matured in predominately American oak puncheons for 14 months.
Concentrated blackberries, vanilla/coffee cream oak, plums and chocolate licorice bullets. Full-bodied, generous, sweet, smooth and warm although heat spikes never interrupt the line. A touch of lift. The fruit has life and there’s a melted chocolate texture and flavour thing going on. Grainy, oak-derived tannin. Hard to deny. 90 Good
