The Orange region usually makes a fair fist of Pinot Gris and this wine is no exception. It spends eight months on lees but sees no battonage, all of which leads to a little more body and texture without any fruit purity being sacrificed.
Nashi pear, stone fruit and spice with a musky, floral nose. It’s rounded and nutty but neither oily nor greasy. Turns towards apple and citrus on the back-palate. Rolls out well. Good drinking. 88 Good
