A blend of Tempranillo grapes from Brown Brothers’ Heathcote Vineyard (35%) and the Banksdale Vineyard (65%) which sits in the King Valley between the high-altitude Whitlands area and Milawa.
Simple varietal pleasures. Vanilla, raspberry, forest fruits, cola and cinnamon. Significant savoury elements on an otherwise soft-fruited and slightly confected palate. Possesses well judged acidity and powder-puff tannins. A touch insubstantial and short but decent table wine all the same. 87 Average
