I’d really like to see these Elefante wines more widely stocked in Queensland. They don’t cost the earth, they taste good and they’re not sterile or overly sanitised. Imported by Fourth Wave Wines.
A blend of 95% Tempranillo and 5% Ganarcha/Grenache from Castilla La Mancha. Decadent black berry and cherry fruit strung with meat, nuts and black spice. The palate is more forward than the nose but there are still aromas of sarsaparilla and violets. Layered tannins – some powdery, some firmer and seemingly more oak derived. Screams value. 90 Good
