Cowra isn’t the first place that springs to mind when it comes to Reserve Chardonnays. Thankfully the price tag isn’t that ‘Reserve’ either.
A nice enough wine. Some forward peach flesh and melon, nuts and spice. Simple-ish but balanced. Oak is pitched sensibly. On entry it’s quite good but afterwards it falls victim to sense of diluteness and a lack of direction. Perfectly quaffable though. 86 Average
