Rob Dolan has been around the traps. Stints at Yarra Ridge and St Hubert’s before building the Sticks and Punt Road brands. In 2009 he decided to take a break and reassess his goals and the year later he was back on deck with his own eponymous label.
This is an affable and affordable Chardonnay, if slightly lacking in the excitement stakes. Yellow nectarine flesh, white peach, woodspice and some toasty oak. Creamy but measured. Ample flavour, decent shape. Upfront and forward drinking that will please many. 88 Good
