2012 Rob Dolan True Colours Cabernet Shiraz Merlot

rob dolan CabShzMerl_1497Quite impressed by these Rob Dolan Tue Colours wines all up. Good quality, fair price. I’m tempted to call them honest.

Polished and soft-fruited but it doesn’t feel concocted, cynical or confected. Mulberry, cherries and plum are framed by chocolate cedar oak with varietal leafy traits, measured spice and a hint of green capsicum. Lovely long, soft tannin. I’d actually like to see more of it. It’s medium bodied and sapid with some savoury length. Ready to go now. 90 Good
