Oakridge’s Over the Shoulder Chardonnay has always over-delivered. It tastes of the Yarra Valley but it also has the distinct imprint of winemaker Dave Bicknell. Not a bad thing.
Subtle floral notes, lemon, nectarine and apples with a bit of the ol’ struck match. Lovely flavours, unimpeded by any overt oak. Leesy curves and pleasing palate weight with a flinty mineral presence lingering long after you swallow. Ready to go now. 91 Good – Very Good
