I passed on reviewing this when it was released. I thought it was a good wine but it was too bound up for me to say how good with any confidence. No such problem now. It’s beginning to sing and has some years ahead of it yet.
Beautifully perfumed. Sour cherries, sous bois, roses and assorted dried flowers. A touch smoky and wild but the texture is sensual and the structure is sublime. Velvety tannin further marks it as wine of class and gravitas. I’m fascinated by wines that inhabit the edge of existence. 94 Excellent
