Imported by Dural Wines Australia. Ain’t the full name a mouthful? I’m still of the opinion that the Rheingau region in Germany is better suited to dryer expressions of Riesling than this, but I’ll just concentrate on the glass in front of me.
An off-dry nose but the significantly sweeter characters are matched by a crushed rock mineral presence and soft but shapely acidity. Smells musky and floral with mango and assorted stonefruits, rose-water, lemonade, herbs and ripe limes. There’s a bit of tension here but its more about smoothness and flow. Impressive extension through the back-palate. If you drink it on its own terms you can’t help but find satisfaction. 92 Very Good
