Honestly, I expected to like this more than I ultimately did. Not that it’s a poor wine by any means and it will benefit from a few years in the cellar.
Linear but with texture imparted from barrel and sur lie fermentation. The acidity has that slightly sour, limey character that means it won’t be for everyone. Green pear, grapefruit and a hint of honeydew melon. Builds through the line towards a slightly bitter herb conclusion with a touch of ozone as well. Time will tell. 91+ Good
