From the King Valley, home of all things Italian, comes a special little Grigio from De Bortoli. It’s not overly aromatic but neither is it neutral in the mouth. Oh, and it has a genial texture as well. True to variety and style.
The expected pears are accompanied by a lemon citrus note and a suggestion of star fruit. Dig a little deeper and you’ll find daikon and some spice. Soft acidity and a refreshing finish. It will suit a wide range of foods and it’s moreish. A lot of Grigios get what appears to be a simple task wrong. This gets it right. 88 Good
