I don’t get to taste a lot of Mornington Peninsula Shiraz. I’m not sure a lot gets made. But this is a ripper. 15% whole bunches incorporated.
It smells of blackberries, boysenberry, pan juices, terracotta, earth and florals. Shimmers with pepper on the palate and leans towards angularity in its profile, with layered plates of ripe tannin grounding the wine. A granite-like minerality sees it out. Lithe and ropy. Suave gear. 94 Excellent
