When too much Chardonnay is never enough. Damn, these two single vineyard expressions are good. The Farrago is finer than the Faultline but it’s layered and loaded with personality.
Almond meal, white florals, porridge and a little struck match adjoin grapefruit, orange citrus and white peach. The fruit is fine, the palate nutty, yeasty and textured. Trademark quartz minerality powers through the back-end, leaving a clean trail and terrific extension. 95 Excellent
