Always a solid performer, sometimes much more. The 2010 lacks the fruit substance and length necessary to take it into the higher realms. At the price, it’s still an enjoyable drink with good typicité.
Cedar, brown leaf and dried herbs. Black and blue fruits with mulberry interspersed liberally, although it’s only medium-bodied. It’s heavily gilded with chocolate and the tannins provide an appropriately savoury conclusion. 89 Good
