Sourced from vineyards in the Tamar Valley. Not sure how long it spent on lees but I don’t see much autolysis influence in the wine. Secondary fermentation took place in tank.
I’ve seen some good reviews for this but I can’t say it won me over. That it’s priced in similar territory to the Brown Brothers NV (a superior wine) doesn’t help matters. Baked and fresh apples, lemon meringue and nuts with a sherbet finish. The acidity isn’t the finest and I feel the dosage is misjudged. Simple and sweet. 86 Average
