The Yarra Valley makes more than a fair fist of Sauvignon Blanc, although I suspect most of the producers there would prefer to focus on other things. This is a good’un from the 21 year-old Lusatia Park vineyard. Wild yeast fermented in some new and old French barriques.
Grass and gooseberry, pineapple and tomato bush with some lemon yoghurt creaminess and a sprinkle of herbs. The finish is flinty with pleasant traction and good persistence. Admirable form throughout. 91 Good
