Interesting that the Julius comes in a proprietary bottle and the Peggy’s Hill doesn’t. It’s a significant step up quality-wise, so maybe that explains it.
Supremely floral nose with citrus zest, lime and grapefruit sitting underneath. It’s wound tight with electric intensity and drive. Purity of fruit, slate and talc minerality and intriguing peppercorn spice on the back-palate. Immaculate line and length. If you’re a fan of Eden Valley Riesling then this deserves a place in your cellar. 96 Exceptional
