2012 Bilgavia Estate Verdelho

Admittedly I struggle with straight Verdelhos but I rather enjoyed a glass of this in the muggy weather yesterday. Clean lines, a little texture and a spicy crisp finish. The spice really made all the difference.

Melon, pineapple, peach and 2012 Hunter Valley cut lettuce. The balance between sweetness and acidity is fetching. Priced a bit steeply but if someone else is pouring… 88 Good
