2012 Bilgavia Estate Chardonnay

A fairly insubstantial interpretation of Hunter Valley Chardonnay. The flavour profile is there but not in a convincing manner.

Melon, yellow peach and pineapple with some roasted cashew oak. A complexing suggestion of vomit (isovaleric acid?) which isn’t quite as off-putting as it sounds. Not much definition or endurance. Do-able. 85 Average

Region: Hunter Valley
Alcohol: 12.5%
