Broader and more intense than the Wallis Vineyard. It’s powerful, nutty and savoury but still relatively light on its feet. A wash of leesy cheese, honeysuckle, stonefruit and struck match on the nose.
The palate has a feeling of unity to it but scintillating acidity provides plenty of shape and form. Compact with a little phenolic grip crimping the finish. Grapefruit and mineral length provide a fitting conclusion. 93 Very Good
