Many notes and reviews of new releases to get up on the site but I’ll intersperse some back vintages consumed over Xmas for a bit of fun and variety. We’ll kick off with the Tarraford Chardonnay because my love for the vineyard knows no bounds. I believe this was the debut release.
Opens up with some savoury, funky roast poultry lees characters but the orange peel and citrus is still strong with nectarine chiming in as well. Feels terrific in the mouth with enough structure to pull all the pieces together and deliver them with confidence. Nice mineral edge as well. In a really great place at the moment. 94 Excellent
