2012 Yalumba Sangiovese Rosé

Regularly discounted and with an edge over similarly priced competitors, Yalumba’s Sangiovese Rosé is an easy enough wine to recommend. It’s not that textural and there’s no great complexity to it but it does drink solidly.

Toffee apple and red fruits with hints of dried herbs, spice and maybe even a little earth (if you look really hard). Orange rind and citrus temper the riper fruit notes. A wine that doesn’t demand or require a lot of thought. 87 Average – Good
