I guess this is what you’d call a lifestyle wine…made for those want to be seen drinking Pinot Noir and who don’t really care how it tastes.
An unappealing nose of varnish, lipstick and nail polish with strawberry and cherry lurking underneath. It doesn’t get any better once you go in for a taste. The “fruit” is heavily confected and the acid is spiky and uncomfortable. A small amount of perfunctory tannin helps you pretend you’re drinking wine. Mawkish and hard going. 79 Below Average
