Relatively simple but admirably ripe (within the context of 2011) Shiraz sourced from Greenock and Nuriootpa in the Barossa Valley.
It smells and tastes of blue and black fruits, licorice, clove oak, ferns and char-grilled meats. Fleshy in the mouth and without a great deal of shape but it is soft and gluggable. A bit of grippy tannin and spice on the finish. Pretty good drinking all up. 88 Good
