A New Zealand producer I’m unfamiliar with. I’ve got Central Otago Pinot Noirs and a Gris still to taste but this Gewürztraminer is a positive introduction. Varietal and textural with very well pitched residual sugar. Not too sweet, just noticeable.
Love the bouquet; lime spider, rose-water, sherbet, baked apples and candied ginger. It’s luxurious and rounded in the mouth but there’s enough acidity and shape here to carry it off. More cohesive than detailed. Finishes with a spicy pickled ginger and wet pebble finish. Nice. 90 Good

Agreed a great wine , love the description it suits the wine to a tee. Have you tried their Rose and Pinot Noir ? Excellent rounded wines.
Thanks Bill. I have the 2011 Pioneer Series Pinot Noir and Gris here to try, not the Rose. Will hopefully get reviews up early next week.
Cheers
