Ah, the trusty Sexton. Friend to those hunting for a good, well priced Chardonnay in large supermarket owned chain stores. I drink more of you than I do any other Giant Steps’ wine; because you’re available. That doesn’t make you cheap or skanky though.
An expression that sits somewhere in-between the linear Tarraford and the rambunctious Arthurs Creek Chardonnays. Slightly smoky cashew oak frames white peach, oatmeal, nectarine and spice. Nice length, shape and flow with a little traction and some sea spray on the finish. Easy to lap up. Very Good – Excellent
