2011 Tamburlaine Hunter Reserve Verdelho

Tasted alongside two other Verdelhos which did very little for me. They were probably more varietally distinct though…

Driven by lemon citrus with a note of unripe melon being the only other specific fruit detail. Any herbaceousness is pleasantly understated and there is some textural nous with softer generic tropicals filling out the mid-palate ever so subtly. Predominately linear, spritely, refreshing and clean. Steeply priced but still… Good
