Not as impressive as the 2010 but still worth a look if you’re on the hunt for a sub $20 Chardonnay. It’s made in the leaner style, as is the current vogue.
Faint aromatics of white peach, nectarine, hazelnut and cream. Winemaker input is tasteful with bready, leesy characters, toast and spice all playing a part. It’s very well balanced actually – no one component stands out. Not a fruity wine by any means and I would like to see a little more generosity but I’m happy to drink this nonetheless. Good

Its a nice btolte, i think i got it for $9.99 at court square wine & spirits. Penfolds in general i find are underpriced and always a great value.
