I’ve tasted half a dozen 2011 Adelaide Hills Sauvignon Blancs and to be honest, this is the only one that has really deserved to be written up. A challenging vintage?
Lovely clean acidity underpins passionfruit, guava and grapefruit. It’s punchy and fresh with pleasant tartness and pretty decent persistence. A hint of grass/nettles but nothing more – it’s not a pungent style and that’s fine by me. Good – Very Good
