Well, hello oak! A cream, toast and butterscotch overlay with yellow peach, fig and ripe lime covering the fruit bases. As one might expect, it’s fairly clumsy in the mouth too. Loose and amorphous. Citrus accents provide some respite on the back palate.
It may find an audience amongst those who long for Australian Chardonnays of yore but here’s a prime example of why that aesthetic has been eschewed. Average
