The 2010 Clonale is sourced from Kooyong’s Farrago, Faultline and Ballewindi vineyards. It’s always been an impressive wine for the price but this is the best I’ve seen it look.
Nectarine leads into peach with the aid of a clever lick of cream. A bit of melon on the mid-palate and grilled pine-nuts for extra depth. Lemon and lime form an omnipresent drone which anchors the wine and a slightly salty, mineral finish makes you smile. A ‘go to’ Chardonnay for sure. Very Good
